Join the Sydney Swans to bike Vietnam. Ryan O'Keefe and Jared Crouch will be tackling a unique RAW Travel challenge, mountain biking 500km through the remote North East Mountains of Vietnam to raise money for OCF in October. They need your support.
OCF is the major charity partner of the Sydney Swans and this trip is a one-off opportunity to raise a significant amount of money for OCF and to be a part of something that will make a real difference. Childhood cancer is the single greatest cause of death from disease in Australian children.

What's It All About
This is the most exciting and spectacular cycling journey in Vietnam. The northeast is a captivating blend of dramatic landscapes and colourful hill tribes. This ride takes you through a stunning and isolated area which has changed little over the centuries and is steeped in history. You will not only experience rural Vietnam behind the scenes but also meet numerous different ethnic minority groups who are only too pleased to let you into their world. The Sydney Swans Vietnam Challenge is an exciting and spectacular journey in the far north of Vietnam. This is a serious cycling adventure with a lot of testing climbing, which rewards you with some spectacular descents and breathtaking views. If you are looking for a challenging cycling tour with a mix of intriguing culture, you will love this trip.
Our route will take you through a stunning and isolated area which has changed little over the centuries and is steeped in culture and history. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience rural Vietnam and explore the fascinating hill tribes, which are secluded in the mountains.
What's more, Ryan O'Keefe and Jared Crouch will personally be tackling this challenge to raise money for OCF.

On the Bikes
There will be early starts on cycling days. We operate a sweep system whereby the truck that carries the equipment, water and snacks will be out front as the lead vehicle. One of the guides will be the front marker – no one can go in front of this guide. We also have a back marker with the private bus in the rear.
It is not a race and every 20Km or so we will pull up off the road to allow the back of the group to catch up, refill our water bottles and eat some snacks before setting off again. Lunch will invariably be a picnic at the side of the road and we expect to reach our night destination late afternoon. Every evening there will be a briefing as to the next day’s logistics’ and timings.
